VMEP Bridge Building and Road Paving  
Transport in Vietnam’s rural areas is very inconvenient, and simply-constructed  wooden bridges for crossing streams and rivers can be found everywhere. In order to achieve the goal of “to development and to bloom in the same pace”, VMEP launched a 100-bridge construction project in 2006. The project aims to improve the transport in the rural areas and provide the locals with a convenient and safe bridge system.

Thanks to the lead of General Manager Mr. CHEN Pang Hsiung and the full support from local enterprises, the first bridge of the project was completed on 5 September 2006 in Qianjiang Province. The project goes on smoothly as scheduled, and 30 bridges have been built for the time being. It not only provides the locals with more comfortable and convenient transport, but also helps the local economic development. VMEP’s 100-bridge construction project will be completed soon, and we are sure that our motorbike will be seen everywhere in Vietnam by then!

VMEP will continue to co-operate with the Vietnam government in improving the social environment and creating a better future for Vietnam.
